Take a chance and win!

Since Frappe Nation Group in Flickr web site was made by Daniel Young and Vivian Constantinopoulos, there are already 82 members, or better to say frappe nationals who share the same feelings, thoughts and ideas that we are all following.

There are people around the world who were in Greece and once in their life tried real "greek elixir" called frappe. And all those people now have got together in Frappe Nation Group. Get to know what people think about frappe culture in Greece, and let us know your frappe taste and leave some comments as well.

And now share your frappe picture by adding it to Frappe Nation Group and take a chance to win a prize. People will choose the best shot of frappe and a winner will be announced. Read about "Group Show and Competition" HERE.
I know that it's quite strange to write about freddo in frappe blog, but i think it's good to know one more drink which somehow competes with great frappe.

There are 2 types of freddo that i want to mention. Freddo espresso and freddo cappuccino.
Both are based on espresso coffee, the difference is the way they are made.

First one - freddo espresso (on theleft), is made by mixing espresso coffee, sugar, ice cubes and milk in a shaker. With time, milk will "come off" the rest ingredients and sets on the top of a glass.

Second one is freddo cappuccino (on the right) which i like mostly. It's also made in the same way as freddo espresso, but without adding milk into the shaker. Milk foam is added on the top of a drink... you can beat cold rich milk in a foam using french-press or mixer for milkshake.

Freddo is less stronger than frappe. It could be also sweet, strong or semi-sweet... Freddo espresso could be made without milk, but milk in freddo cappuccino is a must.

Freddo is tasty and refreshing, it's a good alternative if you cant drink quite strong frappe or you've drunk frappe today but still need a caffeine dose, so you take less strong freddo just to give you some extra energy))) Now it's your choice.

i want to thank Robert for giving me right to use his photo (on the right) in my blog. Visit his page to see more great pics from Greece.
